Saptrishi Pass Trek –June 25, 2022 ⚊ 1 Min read ⚊ Views 63 ⚊ TRAVEL
With a height of 4421 metres above sea level, the Saptarishi Kund Trek is one of the toughest hikes in the Himalayas. This half-kilometer long, dark bluish glacial lake serves as the source of the Yamuna River. The Kund, which is surrounded by stony glaciers, is nourished by the Champasar glacier.
The trail is challenging, rarely crowded, and has only been travelled by a small number of hikers. It is for those who enjoy higher Himalayan climbs and adventures and are looking for new challenges.
