Kashmir is the location of the legendary Tarsar Marsar trek. Tarsar, Marsar, and Sundarsar are three of the most beautiful alpine lakes along the path. You might even be able to see a portion of the Milky Way in all its sparkling glory if you’re lucky.
The best months to travel to Tarsar Marsar are July and August since that is when the vegetation and floral blooms are most vibrant. Between May and June, the snow cover melts.
